Foxes & Bears
Time of Change
High in the upper level of the broch, the centre of Dun Gwynllech, is the the study of Romyr Manedden, the tieryn. A lone man is sitting in front of the roaring fireplace, contemplating. Winter is at it’s end, the days grow longer, and warmer, soon spring will come to the plains of Pewys. Spring, the season or planting, rearing, cattle raids, and border skirmishes. There’s a letter on the desk, a letter from Lord Dyryn counting his latest woes. In his study, overlooking Gwynllech city, Tieryn Romyr is contemplating the coming season…
Dun Gwynllech is the western most dun in the Fox lands, bordering on Bear lands, to the north, and not very far from the western border of the Great Kingdom. Winter is ending, the days grow slowly longer, and spring winds bring change in their wings. Soon it will be the season for planting, rearing, cattle raids, and border skirmishes. In his study, in front of the roaring fireplace, Tieryn Romyr is contemplating the coming season…
The game is a Celtic Fantasy set in the equivalent “high middle ages”.
PCs will be members of the household of Tieryn Romyr (lord of Gwynllech). They will face diplomatic, investigative, espionage, and counter espionage missions (with some combat).
The game will be rare magic. Combat will be heroic. Rewards will be fame, status, and fortune.
